Outside of web design, I immerse myself in various creative pursuits that fuel my passion for life. From tackling challenging DIY projects at home to embarking on exciting adventures with my partner and our two cockapoos, Bia and Sadie.
As an avid traveller, I’m constantly seeking new experiences, whether it’s uncovering hidden gems nearby or venturing to far-off places. Food is another passion of mine, and I love exploring different cuisines and experimenting with recipes in my kitchen. Yet, my heart truly belongs to the great outdoors, especially the rugged beauty of the Peak District.
Raised in both the vibrant city of Derby and the serene coastal charm of rural Suffolk, my journey into the web industry began with a pivotal decision to forgo university and pursue an apprenticeship back in Derby. It was here that I laid the foundation for my career, working my way up through various roles in small and large companies across the East Midlands, gaining invaluable experience along the way.
Meeting my partner shortly after returning to Derby, we embarked on the journey of homeownership a few years later, purchasing our first house in Derbyshire just before the first COVID-19 lockdown. This newfound space became a canvas for my DIY endeavors. As we navigated the challenges of a global pandemic, our home became a sanctuary, fostering a sense of togetherness and resilience in the face of uncertainty.
With dreams of expanding our family and embracing new adventures, we recently took the plunge, purchasing our second house—a spacious abode nearly double the size of our first home, nestled in the idyllic landscapes of North Nottinghamshire, on the cusp of South Yorkshire. This decision marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our lives, filled with anticipation and growth.
